Swedish Massage
Swedish massage is also known as a classic massage, and is the most common type of massage practiced. massage therapists will employ a variety of techniques throughout the massage including (bu long gliding stokes towards the heart to promote circulation and lymph flow
Myofacial Release
Myofascial release therapy is a massage technique that focuses on relieving pain in your myofascial tissues. These are the thick connective tissues that support your muscles. The therapist identifies the stiff tender areas in the facia and uses tools and techniques to get them to release.
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger point massage is a non-invasive massage therapy technique that uses deep pressure to release muscle tension and relieve pain caused by trigger points.
Craniosacral
The therapist will uses their hands to apply gentle pressure to your head, neck, back (around your spinal column) or other areas of your body where you have symptoms. It is gentle and non invasive.
Clinical Massage
Clinical Massage is a massage intent on relieving a specific set of signs or conditions. It is not a single style of massage and includes many different massage modalities and techniques such as: deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point, sports massage, assisted stretching and more.
Prenatal/Postnatal
This is a massage for during and after pregnancy and focuses on the mothers needs and pain. Altering techniques and positioning aides are used to relieve the pain and stress due to pregnancy.
Hot Stone Massage
This massage is a therapeutic massage technique that uses heated stones to help relieve muscle tension and pain. The stones are combined with gentle flowing massage techniques to provide relief and relaxation during a session.
Chair Massage
Massage done in a specialized chair that supports the clients head, neck, and arms. Often done for clients who are not able to lay on the table or for shorter massages.
Gua Sha Massage
Gua sha is the practice of using a special tool to apply pressure and scrape the skin to relieve pain and tension.
Reiki Session
The therapist uses gentle touch – or places their hands just above your body – to help guide this energy in a way that leads to balance and healing. Sometimes stones or tools are used to aide in the moving on energies throughout the body.
