I grew up in the Hawick. After graduating from Paynesville High School in 2002, I attended Ridgewater College to be a Medical Assistant. I now reside in the New London area with my husband and collectively we have five kids together, ages 13, 13, 9, 2 and 2. Some of my hobbies include fishing, walking, swimming and spending time with family.
I was a stay at home mom for many years until I found my perfect job here at Paynesville Chiropractic. As the office manager, I am the go-to person for patient needs, insurance claims and pretty much everything behind the scenes. Helping people has always been a passion of mine. My favorite part of my job is watching people transition from being in pain to being in a state of recovery.

I grew up in New London MN and now reside in Belgrade. I was raised on a farm outside of town and enjoyed rock collecting and gardening, passions that have followed me into adulthood. I graduated from New London-Spicer high school in 2005 and went on to attend college in 2006 at MSB in Shakopee for massage therapy. I graduated with a degree in massage therapy in 2007 and went on to work at a few clinics in the cities.
I went back to school to gain more education in other various subjects that have helped and enhanced my massage therapy degree such as aromatherapy, homeopathy, and horticulture. I took several years off to focus on having children and getting settled down in out house. Since then i have worked cooking jobs until i was able to get back into my passion of massage therapy. I started working at the clinic in 2024 and cant wait to meet all of you!

I'm not sure if I chose chiropractic or if it chose me. I knew after working 7 years in the a nursing home, I was falling apart and needed help. Family members were getting chiropractic adjustments and they were (and still are) raving fans. At the age of 23, I disvovered how chiropractic care could help eliminate pain and restore function to my body. More importantly, it helped me improve my overall healthy and wellbeing at a higher level.
After completing my undergraduate studies at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in 1985, with majors in Nutrition and Social Work, I didn't know which direction to take. Two years later it became evident that becoming a Chiropractor was for me.
In 1992, I graduated from Northwestern Chiropractic College (now Northwestern Health Sciences University) and four weeks later I gave birth to Luke, our firstborn. I opened my first practice in New Ulm in March of 1993. Eighteen months later we moved to Paynesville and on September 19, 1994 I become proud owner of Paynesville Chiropractic Clinic. Our daughter Hailey joined our family in 2001.
Since graduating from NWHSU, I have focused my continuing ed on perfecting my favorite ways to adjust: Thompson, Torque Release and Activator Techniques. I have also added Nutrition Response Testing to the services I offer. This uses muscle testing to determine the underlying cause(s) of less-than-optimal health and which nutritional supplements, homeopathic and nutritional plans would benefit your health goals.
My husband, Bruce and I have been involved in many community activities throughout the years. This includes Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the various sports teams our children participated in. One of our highlights is, as members of the Paynesville JC's, Bruce had the honor of being the pyrotechnic who lit the fireworks off on first island for 14 years! I got to light 'em up too!!!
